• Expounding Scriptures to counter misinterpreted ones

The Cult That Calls Itself The Church of Christ

Proving Church of Christ’s conclusions wrong

COOKSTOWN, NEW JERSEY, USA, December 2, 2021 / -- Pious people conform to the different practices that their respective churches preach; doctrines are believed to secure salvation. However, there is a multitude of false doctrines rampant in today’s churches. Ronald Craig, in his book "The Cult That Calls Itself The Church of Christ," debunks the doctrines practiced by the Church of Christ.

Author Ronald Craig boldly protests the questionable teachings of the Church of Christ, claiming the practiced doctrines are falsehoods. Ron uses biblical passages to counter such false doctrines floating around the church.

Water-baptism, for one, is pointed out to be a heresy. Ron refutes this church practice with how it is concluded to regenerate the sinner’s spirit. Water-baptism is frequently discussed in Scripture passages, and Ron thoroughly expounds these to prove false the Church of Christ’s conclusion regarding water-baptism. This and several other beliefs and practices born out of misinterpreted biblical passages are cited in "The Cult That Calls Itself The Church of Christ."

Author Ronald Craig began the Gospel ministry in 1970, at the age of 25. He got a Bachelor of Arts degree and later went to a Charismatic Bible School. Ron has been a home-church pastor for over 20 years now. He is also a Christian book writer and has already published 9 Bible Study books to date, with two YouTube Bible-teaching channels.

What everyone needs to know about the teachings of the Church of Christ are unveiled in Ronald Craig’s "The Cult That Calls Itself The Church of Christ." Grab a copy on leading online bookstores Amazon, Book Depository, Books-A-Million, and Barnes & Noble.

  • “A Tyrannosaurus For Christmas” Arrives With a Roar

The hit song by author Max Hawthorne proves that kids really do want a dinosaur for Christmas.

A baby Rex would be the best indeed. Forget Velociraptors or Brachiosauruses. They bite and they scratch and they squash all the school buses! A Tyrannosaurus rex is all I need.”
    — Max Hawthorne
BUCKINGHAM, PA, US, December 2, 2021 / -- It’s an established fact that novelty Christmas songs will forever be associated with the holidays. Whether it’s barking dogs, singing chipmunks, or a bunch of runaway reindeer, animals and their antics are often center stage in these productions. This year, bestselling author Max Hawthorne brings the prehistoric to the present with his nigh-irresistible earworm, A Tyrannosaurus For Christmas.

Hawthorne’s boisterous song uses old-fashioned melodies that get you swaying to the music. The lyrics chronicle the adventures of a young boy named Billy who pines for, of all things, a Tyrannosaurus rex. There are lots of references to other dinosaurs – ones budding paleontologist are sure to know – and Billy explains why a T-Rex is the obvious and best choice for a pet. There’s even an adorable message for Santa, an attempt to convince him to bring Billy a baby dino that will one day be big enough to eat an elephant, “It prob-lee will help him to get Rex off his shelves . . . then he can stop looking for his missing elves.”

A Tyrannosaurus For Christmas is promoted by Musik and Film’s President, Stephen Wrench. Wrench is a music industry legend, and has worked with, played with, and managed greats like Lynyard Skynyard, Survivor, Santana, Toto, Tom Petty, and many more. Since its release a month ago, A Tyrannosaurus For Christmas has been “clawing its way” up the charts, and is currently ranked #11 on the World Indie Music Chart’s Top 100. When asked about his song’s unprecedented appeal, Hawthorne said, “I wouldn’t be where I am if it wasn’t for Stephen and the team over at Musik and Film. I’m beyond thrilled. They felt my song was both catchy and timely. Everyone who’s taken their family to see ‘Jurassic World’ knows that children love dinosaurs; it’s a fact of life. And that includes grownup kids. If you’re going to ask Santa for something, you might as well go big, as in Tyrannosaurus big. Who wouldn’t want to ride a T-rex to school instead of the school bus? Can you imagine the looks on all the teachers’ faces?”

  • Knoxville Author Releases Audiobook of Popular Title

Cover of Audiobook "Living Abroad: Challenging the Myths of Expat Life"

Now Available on Audible, iTunes, and Amazon

Author uses voice over skills to release audiobook version of his latest work

KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE, USA, December 1, 2021 / -- In a recent report, the trade publication IBISWorld said that the audiobooks publishing industry in the U.S. in 2021 will end up being worth at least $1.3 billion. They and other industry experts expect the market to grow at 25% each year through 2027. With that in mind, Knoxville, TN author Jim Santos, already a successful writer with work published in venues like The Wall Street Journal, The Huffington Post, and several International Living magazines and e-publications, has now used his experience as a voice over artist to release an audiobook version of his most popular book to date.

Living Abroad: Challenging the Myths of Expat Life” is unique in that it is not a “how-to” book or even a “why to” book about retiring overseas. Instead, it is an insider’s look from someone who has lived life abroad and written for travel/retirement publications. Using informative and often amusing examples from his own life and travels, the author tackles questions and myths he has heard in his experiences meeting other expats as well as talking with potential expats via email and at conventions.

He found that although there is a lot of good information out there, there is a lot of misinformation. Sometimes the positive features of expat life is stressed while the common problems may be minimized or even ignored. This book does not proselytize for moving abroad, but instead aims at giving the reader enough real-life information to make their own decision.

Now enjoy this often laugh-out-loud funny account in the author’s own voice. The audiobook is available via Audible, iTunes, and Amazon – or simply follow this link:

About the Author: Jim Santos is a freelance writer and voice over artist, currently based in east Tennessee after 6 years of living in Salinas, Ecuador on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, exploring that country and three others in South America. He has written and published over 200 articles about life in Ecuador and travel to other locations around the world for the Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, and various International Living magazines, e-newsletters, and web site content.

In addition to the just released “Living Abroad: Challenging the Myths of Expat Life”, "An Uphill Climb: Survivor's Guilt and the Inca Trail", and "The Galápagos Islands: On Your Own and On a Budget" he is also the author of "Ecuador Scouting Trip Itineraries and Travel Guide: An International Living Report" and has edited/updated IL's "Escape to Ecuador" book every year from 2017-2019. He has been a popular speaker on various aspects of life in Ecuador at six expat conferences held in Ecuador and the USA. His blog site ( recently surpassed the 100,000 readers mark, and he has been providing voice over work for a number of outlets over the past few years.

    Sanya Simmons

Sanya Simmons signs a publishing deal for her debut book - A Single Mom's Guide to Raising Black Gentlemen - with Bradbury Press

You are not alone. Raising Black gentlemen isn't easy, but the rewards are great. Your love for your son is your biggest strength. Let it guide you, and you will find your way!”
    — Sanya Simmons
NEW YORK, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES, November 30, 2021 / -- Bradbury Press is thrilled to announce the publication of the keenly anticipated book by debut author, mother and voice artist, Sanya Simmons - A Single Mom's Guide to Raising Black Gentlemen – to be released on 21st December 2021.

A single mom to two wonderful boys, Sanya started writing this book back in the spring of 2014. When asked about the motivation behind writing this book, she said, “My first objective was and remains for my book to be a resource for moms, full of practical tips and examples. Beyond that, I want to achieve financial and critical success and leave a legacy for my sons.”

Almost seven years after she first started working on her book, Sanya started reaching out to publishers. After a brief yet exhausting process, and with the help of her publicist Nathan, she secured a publishing deal with Bradbury Press. The book will be published next month in four different versions – eBook, paperback, hardcover and audiobook.

This book is very close to Sanya’s heart – and it seems to evoke similar emotions from anyone who reads it. When asked about her goals from the book, she said, “I believe in my book. I want to be a partner with Bradbury Press. I believe that together, we can make this book a phenomenal success for all who are involved. I want them to be proud that they saw the potential of my book and took a chance on me. That's something I will never take for granted. I want my book to be an Oprah's Book Club Selection. I want Steve Harvey to offer it to every mother of the boys who go through his mentorship program. I would also like to have the support of 100 Black Men and 100 Black Women. I want to change the definition of what it means to be a successful parent from being defined by our children's success – academic and professional both – to being defined by our relationships with our children. I want to start conversations about what we can do to raise confident, well-adjusted young black men in a society that too often has not served them well. I know these are lofty goals, but I believe they are all attainable!”

Sanya’s debut book will be on sale on the 21st of December – the book will be released in four different versions – ebook, paperback, hardcover and audiobook. The eBook and paperback are scheduled to release on the 21st of December, 2021. Follow Sanya on Instagram for updates about her book and upcoming events.

New Book By Bill Kopp! 362 pages, paperback; featuring nearly 300 images in color and b&w

ASHEVILLE, NC, USA, November 30, 2021 / -- A new book, Disturbing the Peace tells the story of groundbreaking indie label 415 Records. The label founded by Howie Klein influenced other labels to follow, and it released era-defining singles, EPs and albums.

In the late ‘70s and early to mid 1980s, San Francisco was a creative incubator, bringing forth all manner of new music acts. Ground zero for the scene was the Mabuhay Gardens, home to huge barrels of popcorn, once-a-week spaghetti nights, colorful emcee Dirk Dirksen, and punk/new wave bands from all over the Bay Area. Concert booker and renegade radio deejay Howie Klein joined with Aquarius Records owner Chris Knab to launch a record label in support of that scene.

Measured in strictly commercial terms, 415 Records was at best a modest success. But then, for Klein and his founding partner Chris Knab (owner of the city’s Aquarius Records shop), financial gain was never the primary goal. Ask him about his objectives, and he’ll tell you: “F-U-N,” he’ll say. “It was all about fun.”

But 415 Records would have a lasting impact, one that extended far beyond the minor chart action that a few of the label’s artists achieved. Klein and his cohorts established new ways of doing business in the music industry, and were at the forefront of a resurgence of independent labels.

Disturbing the Peace: 415 Records and the Rise of New Wave is Bill Kopp's chronicle of the groundbreaking independent record label founded by Howie Klein & Chris Knab, featuring the stories of Romeo Void (“Never Say Never,” “A Girl in Trouble”), Red Rockers (“China,” “Shades of 45”), Translator (“Everywhere That I’m Not”), Wire Train (“Chamber of Hellos,” “Skills of Summer”), Roky Erickson (“If You Have Ghosts,” “I Walked with a Zombie”), The Nuns, Pearl Harbor and Explosions and nearly two dozen other bands.

Featuring a foreword from Joel Selvin (Hollywood Eden) and based on Bill Kopp’s nearly 100 interviews with the artists, industry execs, producers, friends, rivals, onlookers, journalists and hangers-on, Disturbing the Peace also features hundreds of photos and memorabilia from the archives of those who were there.

Advance praise for Disturbing the Peace:

“In the late 1970s, indie labels popped up all over America, forming an underground network that altered the course of musical history. Each one had a vision, characters and a story of DIY ingenuity, but those were overlooked as their bands took the spotlight. Trouser Press worked a lot with Howie Klein and San Francisco's pioneering 415 label, but I really didn't know much about the company. Thanks to Bill Kopp's definitive 'Disturbing the Peace,' now I do.” - Ira Robbins, co-founder of Trouser Press magazine

“The direct line leading from San Francisco’s psychedelic hippie-band era of the ’60s to the city’s punk and new wave movement of the late ’70s-’80s has never been drawn this clearly - or with this much sheer elation - before. Although they might seem to have little in common musically, philosophically or stylistically, 415 Records bands like Romeo Void, The Nuns, Translator and SVT (whose bassist, Jack Casady, had been in the earlier era’s Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna) followed the same guiding DIY principles, rebelliously eschewing a craving for mainstream success in favor of fomenting a true cultural revolution. 'Disturbing the Peace' is more than just another profile of a local rock scene or record label - it’s the story of a seismic shift, and the passions of the people who created it.” - Jeff Tamarkin, author of Got a Revolution! - The Turbulent Flight of Jefferson Airplane

“By sweeping together the minutiae of one particular music scene - San Francisco in the late 70s and early 80s, when 415 Records began and flourished - Bill Kopp manages to remind us of the way punk and alternative music blossomed into cultural forces influencing the 90s and beyond. Yes, it really happened: dozens and dozens of bands, club hoppers, radio hounds and record store geeks built and maintained a scene without the internet. This devourable, fanatically researched document is indispensable for those who were there and will gall into jealousy those who weren’t.” - Karen Schoemer, author of Great Pretenders: My Strange Love Affair with 50s Pop Music

    From the author’s afterword:

415 Records was special. Not only did it capture the zeitgeist of the music scene in one of the world’s most creatively vibrant cities, but its launch, development and subsequent success served as an example (and sometimes object lesson) of the potential indie-to-major path charted by other labels to follow in its wake. And along the way, some great music got made.

  • Holiday Stress Can Trigger Unrealistic Pressures on Mothers Especially in This COVID Era

    Woman sitting in chair

Book Cover of You Are a Supermom

Author Gina Fontaine demystifies the myths of motherhood and shares her story of thriving.

This is the time of year when moms experience high levels of stress and they struggle with achieving balance.”
    — Gina Fontaine, Author and Personal Trainer

DENVER, COLORADO, USA, November 30, 2021 / -- According to a new survey conducted by The Harris Poll on behalf of the American Psychological Association, the ongoing uncertainty and changes from COVID-19 seem to be compounding struggles for parents, especially for those with younger children. This is especially true as mothers work to balance the needs of their families, working from home or returning to the office, and the tasks related to preparing for the holidays.

“This is the time of year when moms experience high levels of stress and they struggle with achieving balance,” said Gina Fontaine, author and personal trainer. “The holidays are a time when we all want the experience of the festivities to be memorable, especially for our children. We can put too much pressure on ourselves, and it comes at a cost.”

In her recent book "You Are a Supermom" Fontaine identifies the five most common “mom myths” that put unrealistic pressures on moms, which force moms to strive for unattainable perfection. Fontaine then share the tools to bust through these myths, so they can once again prioritize themselves and be the happy, healthy, thriving people they were meant to be.

Fontaine tried to do everything right. She sacrificed her time, her health, and her happiness for her family. But in the blink of an eye, in 2017, she found herself divorced, with rebellious kids that pushed back at every turn; to the point where she had to call the police on her own son. Like so many other moms, she was pushed to the point of breaking and knew there had to be a better way.

We've given away over £2,000 in cash prizes to our speed typing competitors since April 2020 and we'll be adding another £2,000 in 2022”
    — Tony Rust - Managing Direct Better Skills, Better Life Ltd
BLACKPOOL, LANCASHIRE, UNITED KINGDOM, November 30, 2021 / -- New Daily Competition starts Wednesday 1st December are the only regular cash prize speed typing competitions on the Internet and from 1st December they will run the first ever regular daily cash prize speed typing competition, every Wednesday. It’s a 15 second quick and easy to do typing challenge, and if you win, you win the Daily Fiver, a cash prize paid into your bank account or alternatively, by PayPal or Amazon voucher. The competition is free to enter and is carried out online through the competition’s multi-featured typing interface on the website.

You could make a mistake but still win
Each competitor can enter as many times as they want within the 24 hours of the competition and it’s the fastest and most accurate typist who wins, well, sort of. The company spokesperson explains:-“We thrive on feedback, and having now conducted over one hundred speed typing cash prize competitions of various sorts we believe that there is an appetite for a bit of quick mid-week fun at home, in school or at work with a daily cash prize speed typing competition. It’s free to enter and you’ve got the chance of a handy little cash prize.”

“The Daily £5 Prize Fastest Typist Competition will run for just one day a week to begin with and if the demand requires it we’ll add more days each week. Like our Weekly £10 and Monthly £30 Prize speed typing competitions, there will be a league structure of Winners, Champions and Hall of Famers so that the faster typists can graduate from the daily competition to what we call Big Matches where the cash prizes are higher.”

“The regular Weekly £10 Prize Fastest Typist and Monthly£30 Prize Fastest Typist Competitions have always had accuracy at the heart of their scoring system, with highest WPM and the highest accuracy beating the highest pure WPM score. However, this has been modified recently such that all accuracy scores over 98.5% are ranked the same for scoring purposes, so if you make the odd mis-keying, you aren’t penalised. This should take the pressure off being 100% accurate and will let the competitors concentrate on their speed a bit more.”

The league structure for Daily Competition higher cash prizes
Details are yet to be finalised but it is expected that the league structure will work on the basis that if a Daily Competition winner wins four competitions with any ten week period then they become a Champion after which they have to take a four week mandatory break, and then, if they win two more daily competitions within any ten week period, they will become a Hall of Famer and can no longer take part in the daily competition. This is so that no one competitor dominates the competition. However, those competitors who win through to these leagues can take part in Daily Big Match Speed Typing Competitions where competitors within each league compete against each other for higher cash prizes of £25, £50 and £75 respectively. is the biggest cash prize speed typing competition website on the Internet, hosting regular weekly and monthly cash prize fastest typist competitions and sending prize money all over the world. The higher prize money competitions are structured according to a league system of Winners Champions and Hall of Famers.

A note about the BIG MATCHES
    • Winners Big Match – held every ten new unique Winners
    • Champions Big Match – held every ten new unique Champions
    • Famers Big Match – held every seven new unique Famers
